Cet authentique village Provençal a su allier , culture et un
patrimoine médiéval extraordinairement préservé
et réhabilité , qui accueille de nombreuses festivités (dont
les médiévales) et de nombreux artistes .
Le quartier du Parage (XII°,XIII° et XIV° siècles)
abrite le village médiéval . Le tracé des remparts est encore
visible et des portes fortifiées donnent accès à des ruelles étroites
qui nous amènent au point culminant
où se situe une haute tour attestée du XIII° siècle . La
chapelle du Parage est citée dès le XI° siècle et
tient lieu de salle d'exposition .
Dans la ville basse , l'église St Jean Baptiste abrite un
polyptyque du XV° siècle et une superbe crèche animée .
A voir également la chapelle Ste Roseline (Ancienne abbaye
du XII° siècle - D91 , 4 Km du village) , où s'unissent
harmonieusement styles anciens et contemporains , dont des
retables du XVI° et XVII° siècles , et une mosaïquede Chagall
; Le château et le cloître jouxtant la chapelle (Qui se visite)

This authentic Provençal village knew how to blend, culture and an
extraordinarily protected and rehabilitated medieval patrimony,
which welcomes numerous festivities (among which the medieval) and
of numerous artists .
Parage's district (XII°,XIII° et XIV° centuries) shelters
the medieval village. The outline of ramparts is still visible and
strengthened doors give access to narrow alleys which bring us to
the highlight where is situated a high tower attested by the XIII°
century .
In the low city, the church St Jean Baptiste shelters a
polyptyque of the XV° century and a magnificent lively crib.
Also to see the chapel Ste Roseline (Ancient abbey of the XII°
century - D91, 4 Km of the village), where unite harmoniously
ancient and contemporary styles, among of the altarpieces of the
XVI° and XVII° centuries, and Chagall's mosaic. The castle and

Questo
autentico villaggio Provenzale ha saputo coniugare cultura ed un
patrimonio straordinariamente ben conservato e recuperato, che
ospita numerose feste (tra cui quelle medievali) e numerosi
artisti.
Il
quartiere di Parage (XII, XIII e XIV secolo) ospita il villaggio
medievale. Il tracciato del bastione è ancora visibile ed alcune
porte fortificate danno accesso a stradine strette che conducono
al punto più alto ove si situa un’alta torre risalente al XIII
secolo. La cappella di Parage è citata dall’ XI secolo e viene
attualmente utilizzata come spazio espositivo.
Nella
città bassa, la chiesa di St Jean Baptiste (San Giovanni Battista)
ospita un polittico del XV secolo ed un bellissimo presepe
animato.
Da
vedere anche la cappella di Ste Roseline (Antica abbazia del XII
secolo – D91, a 4 km dal villaggio), dove si uniscono
armoniosamente stili antichi e contemporanei, tra cui alcuni
retablo del XVI e XVII secolo, ed un mosaico di Chagall ; il
castello ed il chiostro contiguo alla cappella (che sono
visitabili) sono privati.
